I must raise my voice amongst the others on the sailing voyage in saying that the trip was quite brilliant indeed, absolutely smashing on all accounts! I could hardly imagine a better crew to work with, and our opponents were incredibly skilled as well! A smashing time, absolutely cracking all things considered, really cannot say enough about the entire experience.

All my apologies for bothering you during this holiday break, but I am in need of advice and find those who can read this to be either incredibly dear or incredibly astute in matters magical. At the risk of erring on the side of dramatic: I am writing this from a bathtub with the help of a typewriter. I would like to spend the rest of what is left at Neopolis not in a bathtub, and even referrals to specialists that I've never heard of would be nice, if you could so provide. But I think that in writing that, I am getting ahead of myself.
So: my doctor cannot, for whatever reason, fix what I have reason to be a gross mishap of my curse's affects with the zombie's bite as of September. With trading of my slimy state for one that is [...] drier, I've lost my ability to stay hydrated for extended periods of time. Although I've theorized that investing in one of those watersack backpacks may be of assistance, it is not something I would wish to depend on -- much like, mind you, this bathtub. I am steadily losing faith in this doctor and would like to ["bother," but clearly covered by the capital X] ask of Roux's help only when it is absolutely needed.
I will admit in full disclosure: I am unsure as to whether I need a potion or a curse-breaker, but I will happily outline all the symptoms should any of you have the time to reply before the break's closure. Thank you for your assistance in advance and I hope that your Thanksgiving has been exceedingly successful.

FOR WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: I am unsure that I am going to feel well enough for a birthday event of my own on Monday at all! Rather than discussing festivities, I would much rather that you donate to Caring Hands in my honor! Its present state is atrociously in shambles, and it would be a worthy expenditure on anyone's part! I certainly know that I am going to attempt to do something, even if it is wait until things even keel to do some physical labor!
As an aside: celebrating the birth of one Mary Liberté Collins is not optional in the slightest and is something that I encourage everyone and everything to do posthaste! She adores rum, shortbreads, cutlasses, and delightful tomes of fiction. I do not like to demand things from people, but she should be showered in these things posthaste. |

Hello, everyone! Not to diminish from the smashing end-of-year activities we have coming up, but it seems that it is my duty to remind the Gothic dormitory our standard rules for finals week! Apologies to all parties who have, in fact, heard this before -- but, well, it's the job and all that lot!
- The extended quiet hours are starting on Sunday until Friday afternoon! All hours are posted on your respective floors, but if you have any questions, please comment!
- A list of assembled study groups are in the basement lounge! Although there are a lot of general groups assembled, there are also specific study groups assembled for some of our more popular classes in the 8-10 PM slot. In order to ensure that mind and body are fueled, we're offering healthy snacks to eat along while you study with friends! Ellie and I picked up some popcorn, scones, muffins, and a fruit basket, but if there are other offerings you would prefer, we'd like to hear it!
- For that extra kick, we're having a Midnight Pancake Breakfast next Thursday! There's posters all over the dorm with more information, but I wanted to post an extra reminder!
In other news, I hear the musical is doing smashingly! I've decided to wait until the closing performance, however -- all the same, I hope everyone sufficiently breaks a leg, by Jove! Well -- figuratively, of course!
Actually, I suppose waiting is my game as of late; all this lingering means that I've become quite the free agent on the dance floor! I've even engaged in planning some last-minute shopping to the North this coming Sunday! But it just won't do to have everything be so last-minute, so I believe I need to utilize this fine service to arrange for a few dances. Forgive me for the utilization, but I believe it is time to take the ladies' dance card and make it unisex. If you would be so kind, please sign up below!
